Monzo co-founder joins ethical investment FinTech board

Monzo co-founder Gary Dolman has been appointed chairman of an ethical investment FinTech. 

In Brief: 

Subject to approval, he will join the board of Tickr. 

The Liverpool-based FinTech recently closed £2.5mn funding with Ada Ventures. 

It enables people to invest in companies that align with their ethical values. 

What does this mean? 

Dolman says he has used Tickr himself and was impressed by its “transparency”. He says it has the potential to “demistify” the idea of ESG investing, which can often be difficult for consumers to navigate even though many wish to make a difference.
