FinTech Alliance company Delio was recognised at the FinTech Awards Wales on Thursday evening.
In Brief:
Delio scooped the top prize of “FinTech Company of the Year”.
It was also recognised as “FinTech Exporter of the Year”.
LexisNexis Risk Solutions won the prize for “New Product of the Year”.
What does this mean?
The awards were held at The Tramshed in Cardiff with sponsors including Confused.com and the Welsh Government.
Managing Director of the awards, Matt Hyde, commented: “Few areas of the Welsh economy have experienced the rapid rate of growth we have seen within the FinTech sector over the last few years even during the challenging times we have had.”
He added that the awards aim to “recognise the achievements made by many of these businesses and to raise greater awareness as to their importance to the Welsh and wider UK economy”.
